Expressions of Interest (Tender)


The Manx Utilities Authority is a statutory authority providing electricity, wholesale natural gas and clean water and processes waste water on the Isle of Man. This means that Manx Utilities is a wholly owned statutory authority of the Isle of Man Government, which has an AA+ credit rating.

The Authority invites expressions of interest from suitably experienced and capable contractors to undertake workshop based overhaul work over approximately a three year period to the Authority.

All repairs must be carried out at a GE approved level 4 Gas Turbine overhaul workshop, using the work scope and method described in the GE LM2500+ Industrial Repair Manual (IRM). For all of this work only new GE parts, GE approved repairs on existing parts, or GE approved exchange parts with known heritage, that have cycles and hours less than the parts being exchanged, are to be used.

Should you feel that your organisation can fulfil these requirements and you wish to participate in this tender exercise please Express an Interest on the Isle of Man Government Procurement Portal at the following website . Please select ‘Register’ from the menu on the left side of the Home Page.

Once you have registered your organisation you should select this tender from the list of ‘Current Tenders’ and ‘View Details’ then click ‘Express an Interest’ at the bottom of the page. Once you have expressed an interest, the ‘Form of Acknowledgement’ document will become available to complete. In order to progress to the next stage you will need to complete the ‘Form of Acknowledgement’ document before the Expression of Interest deadline detailed below.

If your company has not completed a Manx Utilities assessment questionnaire within the last twelve months then one must accompany your organizations’ tender submission.

Please note the closing date for tender submissions is 12 noon on Friday 21st June, 2019 and must be submitted through the above Portal.
