
Underground utility services can be found all across our Island, in roads, footpaths, gardens and fields. It is important for both safety and to avoid any service interruption that you get in touch BEFORE you dig. Simply “click” or “call”.
This service is free of charge and notifications are cover all utilities on the Island, whether it be water, electricity, wastewater, gas, telecoms, etc. We aim to respond in 3-5 working days. We can post or email copies of plans or arrange for one of our team to visit and mark your services on site.
Email any requests to dig@gov.im and your request will be sent to us (water, wastewater and electricity) in addition it will also be forwarded to Isle of Man Energy, Sure, Manx Telecom and Douglas Borough Council.
We only require the following information:

- address
- location of work, including a map if possible
- phone number
