We are happy to attend any property to provide safe isolation of the electricity supply, free of charge, to ensure that electrical systems are made safe prior to any work being carried out. Such requests must be submitted with reasonable notice to allow for appropriate planning and coordination of resources. The ideal lead in time is two weeks.
 
Where reasonable notice is not provided, isolation requests will be managed on a best endeavours basis, in such cases, timescales cannot be guaranteed. 

Where attendance is requested outside of normal working hours, or where an urgent isolation is required at short notice, a charge may apply in accordance with Manx Utilities’ call-out arrangements. Details will be provided to the caller at the time. 

Under no circumstances should any work be carried out on a live installation.
