Essential Refurbishment of White Hoe Wastewater Pumping Station in March

 

Manx Utilities  is undertaking essential refurbishment works at the White Hoe Wastewater Pumping Station to support the continued reliability of one of the Island’s key wastewater facilities.

 

To enable the replacement of several manhole covers and associated infrastructure, a full road closure will be in place on Old Castletown Road from 9 to 25 March.

 

Signed diversion routes will be provided to assist road users throughout the closure period. Access to the White Hoe Industrial Estate will be maintained via Kewaigue Hill Road, while access to Douglas will be via Quarterbridge Roundabouts.

 

The works form part of Manx Utilities’ ongoing programme to ensure the Island’s wastewater infrastructure remains reliable, resilient and fit for the future.
