DESIGN AND SUPPLY OF UNION MILLS PACKAGE PUMP STATION
The Manx Utilities Authority is a statutory authority providing electricity, wholesale natural gas, clean water and processes wastewater on the Isle of Man. This means that Manx Utilities is a wholly owned statutory authority of the Isle of Man Government.
The Pumping Station was constructed circa 1950, when the Industrial Estate was built and at one time was ejecting the waste from approximately 15 toilets, 15 wash hand basins and 10 kitchen sink units into the nearest gravity fed manhole located in the grassed area close to the entrance to the Industrial Estate. The Industrial Estate has reduced in size over the years due to closure of some businesses but there is the possibility of increased usage in the future consisting of all units in the Estate.
The Scheme includes the replacement of the existing Ejector Pumping Station with a Package Pumping Station within the existing pumping station chamber, if possible, the inclusion of an above ground Walk In Kiosk, alterations to the outlet pipe chamber to improve flows and the installation of an Emergency Screened Overflow from the chamber discharging to River Dhoo.

Please select ‘Register’ from the menu on the left side of the Home Page.
Once you have registered your organisation you should select this ‘Quick Quote’ from the list of ‘Current Tenders’ and ‘View Details’ then click ‘Express an Interest’ at the bottom of the page.
Once you have expressed an interest a new tab called ‘Quote Documents’ will become available where you can download all the necessary information.
The closing date for the receipt of Expressions of Interest on the Portal is 12 noon on Wednesday 21st January 2026.
The closing date for the return of your quotation through the Portal is 12 noon on Wednesday 28th January 2026.
