WEST BALDWIN SIPHON WORKS

The Manx Utilities Authority is a statutory authority providing electricity, wholesale natural gas and clean water and processes waste water on the Isle of Man. This means that Manx Utilities is a wholly owned statutory authority of the Isle of Man Government.

Manx Utilities is seeking a suitably qualified and competent contractor to carry out the remedial works to form a new siphon pipeline to serve the West Baldwin Impounding Reservoir. The scope includes the installation of approximately 365m of 600mm Diameter High Density Polyethylene siphon pipeline, inclusive of a priming chamber, a scour chamber, an outlet headwall at the bank of River Glass, and associated works (including diving) within the West Baldwin Reservoir.

Please select ‘Register’ from the menu on the left side of the Home Page.

Once you have registered your organisation you should select this tender from the list of ‘Current Tenders’ and ‘View Details’ then click ‘Express an Interest’ at the bottom of the page. Once you have expressed an interest, the ‘Form of Acknowledgement’ document will become available to complete. In order to progress to the next stage you will need to complete the ‘Form of Acknowledgement’ document before the Expression of Interest deadline detailed below.
