We are committed to providing reliable and efficient electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. While the 1:10 European ratio of public chargers to registered EVs has been a useful guideline, we are evolving our approach to better meet the needs of our customers.  By monitoring real-time data on charger usage, we will make more informed decisions about where and when to install new charging points. This data-driven strategy ensures that our investments are aligned with actual demand, optimising the availability of charging points and enhancing the overall user experience. Our goal is to support the growing adoption of EVs with a robust and responsive charging network.

To use the new Evolt public charging points, drivers will be required to set up an account at www.evoltnetwork.co.uk.

During registration drivers can order an RFID card, which will enable a simple tap to start a charge and tap to stop a charge. Other payment methods are via the App or by using Web-pay, details can be found at https://evoltnetwork.co.uk/payment-methods/

When charging the following Pre-Authorisation fees are applicable –

• RFID charging - £0
• App charging - £5
• Web-pay - £5
• Contactless, where available - £5

Please note the Pre-Authorisation fee is only held temporarily and does not leave your account, you are only charged for the power delivered.
