Our commitment to your privacy
The General Data Protection Regulations (“GDPR”) are the new EU Data Privacy laws that were introduced to the Isle of Man with effect from 1st August 2018.
The underlying general principles of the GDPR are very similar to the existing principles under the current IOM Data Protection Act 2002. So whilst we haven’t changed the way in which we process your information, added transparency means we give you more information about the way in which we use, share and store your personal information.
Your trust and our integrity are important to us. There are no changes to our terms and conditions; if we do make any changes we will contact you direct.
Who are we
The Manx Utilities Authority is a statutory board of Isle of Man Government and has subsidiary companies e-llan Communications Limited and Manx Cable Company Limited. Personal information that you provide to us will be processed in accordance with the relevant Data Protection legislation of the Isle of Man.
Manx Utilities will be the Data Controller of your personal information.
